About me

I'm British, and I've been a full-time freelance for over twenty years.

In 2006, I rented out my house in London and went off to fulfill a long-held ambition: I walked from New York to Los Angeles to raise money for cancer research.

On the way, I met the woman who's now my wife, and after I'd finished we settled in New Orleans.

There's no other city in the world like NOLA: the sun shines most of the time, we grow bananas and oranges in our backyard, and the people are incredibly laid-back and friendly. But it's also a sad place, still struggling to recover from Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and the murder capital of the US.

Most of my European clients stayed with me, and I've actually found the time difference to be an advantage as it means I can often do jobs overnight.

I'm also gradually building up a portfolio of clients on this side of the Atlantic, and I always welcome new ones.

Please have a look at my website and résumé for more details of my background and specialist areas.
