VoWLAN operates on the 802.11 radio spectrum, which are license-exempt frequencies. Unlike other systems in other bands, these systems do not have protection from interference as licensed services do. I am a technical freelance translator living in Yokohama, Japan. I majored in Electrical Engineering at University. I worked for a company that manufactures electircal and electronic measuring instruments for about 15 years. Then, I became a freelance translator 12 years ago. I first worked as a translator to Japan Broadcasting Corporation and then moved to technical translation mainly in the IT field. I have, however, particular knowledge in eletronic measuring quipment, quality assurance (ISO9000), and safety standards of electronic measuring instruments(IEC, UL, BS and so on).
