I focus on translation from English and Dutch into Polish but also, occasionally, from Polish into English. My experience includes a four-month internship in a translation office in Warsaw (where I was mainly responsible for translations from Dutch into Polish but also from English into Polish and Polish into English) and a three-month period working as a trainee translator at the Language Services Division of the European Central Bank, Frankfurt am Main (taking part in the on-going translation projects as a translator and proofreader). Since 2007 I have been working as freelance translator. My past projects include translating Dutch texts into English for an academic publication about Renaissance music, checking Polish subtitles of American films, co-translating a children's book from Polish into English, and collaborating in an educational project, where I had a chance to work with different texts on various stages (from writing to translating to editing and proofreading), and many more.

In July 2008, I graduated from the University of Warsaw, where I did a five-year MA programme in Western European Languages and Cultures (majoring in English, Spanish and French), and wrote my Master dissertation within the field of Translation Studies. Meanwhile, I also finished a one-year MA programme in Translation Studies at the University of Warwick, where I received a Master of Arts degree with distinction in September 2008.

Jestem tłumaczką z języka angielskiego i niderlandzkiego. Jeszcze w czasie studiów odbyłam staż w biurze tłumaczeń Akson Polska, a w 2008 roku pracowałam przez trzy miesiące jako tłumacz-stażysta w Europejskim Banku Centralnym we Frankfurcie nad Menem. Od 2007 roku pracuję jako tłumacz-freelancer. W moim dorobku tłumaczeniowym znajdują się, między innymi, teksty z zakresu historii tłumaczone z języka niderlandzkiego na angielski na potrzeby publikacji akademickiej, współpraca przy tłumaczeniu z języka polskiego na angielski książeczki dla dzieci wydanej w Wielkiej Brytanii, korekta napisów i tekstu lektora w filmach produkcji amerykańskiej oraz praca przy tworzeniu portalu edukacyjnego, gdzie byłam odpowiedzialna za tworzenie, korektę i tłumaczenie tekstów.

Moje wykształcenie obejmuje Studia Filologiczno-Kulturoznawcze Europy Zachodniej (specjalizacja: literaturo-kulturoznawcze, języki: angielski, francuski, hiszpański) na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim, gdzie otrzymałam tytuł magistra na podstawie pracy magisterskiej poświęconej problemowi paratekstów i nazw własnych w tłumaczeniu literatury. Jestem także absolwentką Uniwersytetu Warwick (University of Warwick). Skończyłam tam roczne studia magisterskie w dziedzinie translatoryki i uzyskałam dyplom magistra (Master of Arts) z wyróżnieniem.
