The upper dam is proposed as a concrete faced rockfill embankment dam about 49m high forming a reservoir of total volume of 22.4 MCM and an active storage of 19.1 MCM. The underground power house complex will consist of machine hall, a transformer hall and associated tunnels, shafts and caverns. The machine hall will house 4 reversible Francis type pump/turbines, coupled directly with generator/motors, each with a rated generating capacity of 333 MW. The rated generating head is approximately 434m.
The pump/turbines will be connected to the upper reservoir by twin concrete lined headrace tunnels and pressure tunnels and shafts which are steel lined over their lower part. Steel lined extended draft tubes and a single concrete lined tailrace tunnel will connect the pump/turbines to the lower reservoir. Headrace surge shafts and tailrace surge chambers will also be provided.

Driver airbag
As you would expect, there is a two-stage driver air bag located in the centre of the steering wheel.
Front passenger airbag
The passenger airbag is new to Jaguar and its shape and deployment are designed to improve its performance when an occupant is not sitting in a normal position. Its dual-stage inflator and twin-bag design achieves low-risk deployment making the inflation of the bag more appropriate to any impact.
Drivers and front passenger side curtain airbags
In the event of a side impact, the curtain airbags fitted along both sides of the car provide head protection for outer occupants in both the front and rear of the car. Curtain airbags provide a significant level of protection against objects such as poles and trees.
Drivers side and passenger side thorax airbag
The thorax and curtain airbags work together to protect occupants even if they are out of position.

Seat Weight Sensing (SWS)
Seat Weight Sensing helps to ensure the appropriate inflation of the front airbags.
It prevents the airbag from deploying if the weight is below a set value (as when the seat is unoccupied or when a small child is in the seat or in a child seat).
It also illuminates the ‘airbag-off’ lamp.

Drivers are warned of vehicles in the blind spots by visual warning within the mirror surface.
Electronic Brake Prefill
XF is the first Jaguar to adopt this new safety system, which improves brake pedal response and provides slightly shorter stopping distances.
Electronic Brake Prefill starts to pressurise the brake system in anticipation of the brakes being applied whenever the driver rapidly reduces throttle.
Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
This assists the driver by highlighting a loss in vehicle tyre pressure.
TPMS measures the tyre pressures (including any spare wheel) and issues warnings if any of the pressures change considerably.

The waterflood is the most widely used and most successful secondary recovery technique in the oil industry, the injection of produced or make-up water into an oil reservoir can increase recoveries from an average of 19% of original oil in place to as much as 55% by driving or sweeping additional oil from the reservoir as the water cycles from injection wells to production wells.
The challenge to operators of water flood fields is to maximize their water injection rates at as low a cost as possible since injection wells themselves are not revenue-generating assets. Just as production wells periodically require stimulation to improve productivity, the injection well also develops near-wellbore skin damage that reduces injectivity over time. Injection water quality and incompatibilities with native reservoir fluids can lead to scale or other debris blocking pore throats and reducing near-wellbore permeability – thus requiring stimulation.
