DipTransIoLET in Italian to English awarded by the UK Chartered Institute of Linguists Diploma in January 2009 (semi-specialized papers: Law - with merit - and Business).

Honours degree in Law and Italian.


My extensive experience as a practicing lawyer is, in the main, in the professional indemnity sector, advising on and handling claims against solicitors, barristers, engineers, architects and accountants. I made regular appearances before District Judges and Masters, as well as with Counsel in the County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal. As my clients were primarily insurance companies, I therefore have knowledge of and experience in the insurance field, including advising on policy wording.

My extensive work to date with lawyers and law firms in Italy means that I have a detailed understanding of the Italian legal system and procedure. This, combined with my practical experience as a lawyer in England, means I am ideally placed to handle translations of a legal nature for a variety of clients, be they lawyers themselves or lay clients.
