I am a Korea-licensed attorney with 8 years of working experience. I have completed my LL.M. program at the University of Chicago Law School. After that, I have passed the New York States Bar Examination.
My practice areas includes mergers and acquisitions, domestic and international financing, anti-trust cases, subsidy matters, license/technology transfer agreements, regulatory and compliance matters, project finance, and a variety of general securities and corporate matters in the banking and investment industry.
While in Korea, I have represented clients such as Kimberly-Clark, Coca-Cola Bottling Korea, Citibank N.A. Seoul Branch, Shinhan Bank, Woori Bank, Micron Technology, Standard Chartered Bank, KT (Korea Telecom), Dow Chemicals, CJ Corp., Samsung Card and Samsung Life Insurance. I also actively participated in the world-wide Lex Mundi Corporate Governance Project launched by the Yale University School of Management, Harvard University and the World Bank.
Naturally, I have translated a number of agreements between foreign investors and Korean counterparts. When it comes to English-Korean legal translation, I can do better than any other Korean-American JDs. As a Korea-licensed attorney, I can further review, proofread, and edit various kinds of legal documents, not just translation of documents.
Currently, I am studying Chinese law at Peking University Law School, Beijing, China. |
