| Translation - English Although being most popularized at the beginning of the 1980’s, the concept of organizational culture was mentioned for the first time as early as in the theories of human relations dating back to the 1940’s. According to them, the informal, immaterial, interpersonal and moral bases of the cooperation are considered more significant than the formal, material and instrumental control emphasized by the theoreticians of the rational system.
The focus of the organizational culture studies has been gradually transferred to aspects that can be measured more easily, above all, to the attitudes and perceptions of the employees and organizational conditions that should match the employee’s perceptions (e.g. a level of individual inclusion, degree of delegation, degree of social span due to differences in status and level of coordination among the units).
