My name is Aura Luna de Chartier. I was born in Colombia but have lived in the United States, New York City, for 18 years. After I perfected my English in Hunter College,New York, I had the opportunity to practice it all the time, since I was married to an American who didn´t speak Spanish. My life in the professional and personal level has always been related to the translation and interpretation of the two languages(English-Spanish. I have worked for many years in several Banks, at their International Departments,where my responsibilities were several bilingual tasks in both languages (English-Spanish) and translations and interpretations,etc. I also worked 4 years at INTERLINGUA N.Y.C. doing translations from English into Spanish and simultaneously I was attending to New York School of Interior Design (nights) where I got my Associate Degree as Interior Designer and Bachellor of Arts, from Fashion Institute of Technology, New York City.
After my return to Colombia I went to College to get a Degree in Translation. I have a Diploma in "Written Texts Translation" from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá, Colombia. Now I have (10) years experience in the translations Business and I am working free lance for different Companies.

Mi nombre es Aura Luna de Chartier. Nací en Colombia, Sur América, pero he vivido 18 años en los Estados Unidos, en la ciudad de New York. Despues de perfeccionar mi Inglés en Hunter College, New Yor City, trabajé por muchos años como Asistente Bilingue en el Departamento Internacional de varios Bancos, donde fuí responsable de traducciones e interpretaciones,etc. También trabajé 4 años en "Interlingua" (N.Y.C.) como traductora del Ingles al Español en temas de Sociología, y simultáneamente atendía a New York School of Interior Design de la cual obtuve mi "Associate Degree" como Diseñadora de Interiores y despúes mi Diploma de Bachiller en Artes en Fashion Institue of Technology, N.Y.C.
Al regresar a Colombia regresé a la Universidad para obtener mi diploma en "Traducción de Textos Escritos" de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá, Colombia. Ahora tengo 10(diez) años de experiencia y trabajo como Traductora (Free-Lance).
