I am a freelance interpreter and translator based in Rome.
I obtained my degree in Interpretation and Communication at the IULM University in Milan in 2003 and my laurea specialistica (Master’s Degree) in Conference Interpretation at the San Pio V university in Rome in March 2008.

In March 2005 I completed a 3-month internship at the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce of Texas in Houston.
My tasks included:
- organization of events, such as business luncheons and conferences;
- market research;
- promotion of the collaboration between Italian and American companies.

I also did a 4-month internship at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, in the Department for General Assembly and Conference Management, Terminology and Reference Section.
- I assisted with the research for terminology on nomenclature used in the international community.
- I created new terms in English, French and Spanish, added definitions and contexts and verified equivalents relating to existing terms. In particular I focused on terms in the fields of human rights, international relations and medicine, as well as working on the names of NGOs and other terms found in Security Council, General Assembly and Economic and Social Council documents.

I work as a simultaneous, consecutive and liaison interpreter during conferences and exhibitions both in Italy and abroad.
