I am a freelance translator with more than five years experience in both technical and literary translations. My proficiency in both English and French are of a very high standard.
Technical Translations:
During my tenure as a consultant in a leading German automobile multinational in the year 2004, I worked on translations in the automotive field. Recently, I was involved in a big project in the domain of automotive electronic communication protocols for the same company.
I have been a consultant in a French aerospace multinational for the last one and a half years and therefore have had exposure in the domain of aeronautics also.
Apart from this, I also regularly undertake projects in the areas of computer software, IT, telecommunications, Electrical/Electronics on a freelance basis.

Literary /General translations:
I am keenly interested in literature, history, arts and humanities in general. As I am also a teacher of French, I constantly keep myself up to date in the areas of culture, sociology and current sociological trends, through the
internet.
I love reading in general. My areas of interest are: fiction, history, biographies, books dealing with society in general and sociology. I am a voracious reader in French, English and Tamil.
I have participated in literary translation projects in all the three languages.
