I am an Aerospace Mechanical Engineer and a high quality Technical Translator & Interpreter. I am both Brazilian and British and I am based in the UK.

As an Engineer, I have worked with oilfield geophysical research, automotive Marketing and after sales, engines manufacturing, agricultural machinery strategy. Currently I lead a team responsible for agricultural machinery costing.

Since 1998 I have carried out translations on such varied projects as instruction manuals, contracts, websites, official documents, software, articles, film scripts, coursebooks on Accountancy, Mechanical Engineering and a cook book.

I interpreted several business meetings with Italian and French suppliers in the UK and once for an Italian citizen at a British court.

My native languages are Portuguese and English. I am fluent in Italian (2 years living in Italy, never stopped working in Italian), and French (1.5 years living in France).

I will consider projects to translate from Portuguese, French, Italian to English and from English, French, Italian to Portuguese.

I am serious and thorough in my translation work and respect every agreed deadline. I am accurate, reliable and semantically precise and use excellent research and picture processing methodologies, should the project require. I believe in open, clear communication throughout the project, up to completion and quality review.

Among the software I can use, if required, are all of Microsoft Office, TRADOS 2007, Front Page and Adobe Photoshop.
