Translation experience
i am French teacher by profession. i teach in school and colleges. i live in an industrial city. as many foreigh companies colloborate with industries in Coimbatore there is need for transloators. i have acted as a translator / interpreter on quite a few occasions. mainly i translate between French and English / Tamil. i have also translated manuals, letter, contracts and technical instructions that too from French to English / Tamil.
have also translated part of a tamil novel into English for the author Ramani Chandran.
i do a lot of translation from english to Tamil in the course of my work for my school. they are basically in the nature of reports, analysis, documents or education oriented information.

Academic qualification
i have passed M.A. English litterature as well as M.A. French litterature. in addition i did a three year Diplôme de Langue course at the Alliance Française of Karaikal, India. also i have passed B1 from the Alliance Française of Coimbatore, India. i am at present doing my doctoral research in French on the works of Michel Tournier. i will be submitting my thesis shortly

Family background
i come from a family which has French connection going back to two centuries. on my maternal side, the ancestors served under the French colonial governement almost from the biginning of French colonial rule in India.
i did my basic schooling in tamil medium. so i am fluent in Tamil, English as well as French.

Other experiences
i have given speeches on how to write essays, articles and letters to school and college students. i have also prepapred a series on articles on how to prepare for the board exams for school final students.
i have prepared guides and manuals on French grammar for students of French.

i am unable to use the full extent of my knowedge of French and English while teaching French. moreover i am interested in learning about new things and enlarging my horizon. so i am very eager to do translation work on the net. i would give my best in the work.

hobbies
i am a voracious reader. i read mainly novels and literary articles in English, Tamil and French. i also enjoy discussing the books i have with others.
