I have a BA in Law and French Law from the University of Oxford and Universite Pantheon-Assas (Paris II). I achieved First Class Honours, and was ranked third in the University.
Subjects studied included: contract law, tort law, trusts, land law, EU law, public international law, Roman law, criminal law, constitutional law, jurisprudence, administrative law, administrative property law, labour law, the history of administrative law, private international law and comparative law.

I then studied Interpreting and Translating (French and English, biactive) at the University of Bath, and received a Post Graduate Diploma with distinction (average mark 74%).
I completed work experience placements at the OECD and the EU institutions.

Following my studies, I successfully passed the freelance interpreting tests for a major international organisation and am due to start work in August 2008, subject to the completion of the necessary administrative formalities.

I am currently registered with various translation agencies, where I specialise in legal and financial documents, including contracts, reports, criminal records declarations, qualifications, amendments and legal correspondence. I am also very happy to accept work from outsourcers who contact me via my ProZ profile, and have undertaken translations, proofreading work and website localisation for several such clients.

I am reliable, efficient and precise, showing great attention to detail and with wide general knowledge. I always go the extra mile in researching my translations to ensure optimum quality and accuracy. I am also prepared to provide certified translations, on request.
