I worked for Rashtriya Sahara Urdu newspaper, a publication of Sahara India Media & Entertainment as a Sr. Sub. Editor / Sr. Correspondent where along with other responsibilities wrote a vast corpus of articles on a variety of subjects, sought interviews with national political leaders, ministers and distinguished personalities of different fields and conducted election surveys and pre-poll opinion at the time of a number of parliamentary and assembly elections. While working with Sahara, I also worked as Urdu News Reader for the News Services Division of All India Radio. I have also served the Central Monitoring Services, a division of All India Radio as Urdu News Monitor for several years. Translation from English to Urdu and vise versa has been a mandatory need all over my professional carrier.

I hold a Master degree in Urdu Language & Literature from Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, India.
