About me

I am currently working as a translator on a free-lance basis. My work mainly concerns general texts, but also texts from various technical areas.

Next to working in the frame of my translation company, I am employed part-time as treasurer of a patient organization. Besides the responsibility for the finances, the work also includes various other tasks, such as compilation of information materials, proof reading of the member magazine and contact with members and much more.

After studies at first in Germany at the Universities of Karlsruhe and Heidelberg and continuing in Sweden at the Universities of Örebro and Vänersborg (Univ. West) I received
my degree M.A. in German and English in 2006.

Personal information
I am 30 years old, born and raised in Sweden. After graduating from high-school I moved to Germany where I lived for 4 years. My husband was born and raised in Germany and he and my two bilingual children (2 and 3 years of age) give me continuous practice of my German. My family and I live in one of those typical Swedish, red wooden houses in a small village called Pålsboda, 230 kilometres south-west of Stockholm.
My day is fairly busy with two small children and work, but I try to squeeze in a little time for a good book every day. I also enjoy outings with my family, baking, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

	X Why did the menu change? The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to. The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. This eliminates scrolling for those with smaller screens, and also improves readability. More information on the changes... Where is the "My ProZ.com" menu? Mouseover your name at the top of the screen. Here you will find information about your account, your email settings, and more. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together. I cannot find something If you are having trouble finding something with the new menu, please submit a support request.
