This Owner's Manual has been compiled to help you to operate your craft with safety and pleasure. It contains details of the craft; the equipment supplied or fitted, its systems and information on its operation and maintenance. Please read it carefully, and familiarise yourself with the craft before using it.
It is XXXX’s policy to continually improve our products. This plus the fact that every XXXXX is more or less tailor made might result in differences between actual equipment and systems on your yacht and the ones described in this manual. This manual describes a standard boat and the individuality of the boats is provided in the enclosed drawings.
This owner's manual is not a course in boating safety or seamanship. If this is your first craft, or you are changing to a type of craft you are not familiar with, for your own comfort and safety, please ensure that you obtain handling and operation experience before "assuming command" of the craft. Your dealer or national sailing federation or yacht club will be pleased to advise you of locai sea schools, or competent instructors.
Ensure that the anticipated wind and sea conditions will correspond to the design category of your craft, and that you and your crew are able to handle the craft in these conditions.
This owner's manual is not a detailed maintenance or trouble shooting guide. In case of difficulty, refer to the boat builder or his representative.
Any craft - no matter how strong it may be, can be severely damaged if not used properly. Always adjust the speed and direction of the craft to sea conditions.
If your craft is fitted with a life raft, read carefully its operating manual. The craft should have onboard the appropriate safety equipment (lifejackets, harness, etc.) according to the type of craft, weather conditions, etc, this equipment is mandatory in some countries. The crew should be familiar with the use of ali safety equipment and emergency manoeuvring (man overboard recovery, towing, etc.) AH persons should wear a suitable buoyancy aid (life jacket/personal floatation device) when on deck. Note that in some countries it is a legai requirement to wear a buoyancy aid that complies with their national regulations at ali times.

Da questo e dal fatto che ogni XXXX presenta un certo livello di personalizzazione possono dipendere eventuali differenze tra le attrezzature e gli accessori realmente presenti a bordo della sua imbarcazione e quanto descritto in questo manuale. Il manuale descrive un’imbarcazione standard, mentre le caratteristiche individuali delle barche sono rappresentate nei disegni tecnici allegati.
Questo manuale del proprietario non è un corso di navigazione o di sicurezza in mare. Se questa è la sua prima imbarcazione, o se non ha confidenza con questo tipo di barca, le raccomandiamo, per la sua sicurezza, di acquisire la necessaria esperienza d’uso e di manovra prima di “assumere il comando” dell’imbarcazione stessa. Il suo rivenditore, la sua federazione velica o il suo circolo nautico saranno lieti di indicarle scuole di navigazione o istruttori competenti.

Se la sua imbarcazione è munita di una zattera di salvataggio, la preghiamo di leggerne attentamente il manuale d’uso. A bordo dell'imbarcazione si dovrebbero trovare le dotazioni di sicurezza (giubbotti di salvataggio, cinture, ecc.) adeguate al tipo di imbarcazione, alle condizioni meteo ecc. In alcuni Paesi tali dotazioni sono obbligatorie. L’equipaggio dovrebbe avere esperienza nell’uso di tutte le dotazioni di sicurezza e nell’esecuzione delle manovre di emergenza (recupero dell’uomo in mare, rimorchio, ecc.) Chiunque si trovi in coperta dovrebbe indossare un salvagente adeguato (giubbotto di salvataggio / dispositivo galleggiante personale). In alcuni Paesi la legge prescrive l’uso costante di dispositivi salvagente conformi alle normative nazionali.
