KATAJAMA (pompously) I am Katajama, a master bridge builder, and I must return to my country. I expect you to get me there safely, even if it means giving up your life!
SHUMI (hastily to forestall any more arguing) Nakano! Why don't you go scout ahead to make sure the road is clear? We'll meet you when it's time for a break and then go on together.

Sehr geehrter, lieber Patient,
bei Ihnen kommt es während der Erektion zu einer Verkrümmung des Penis. Sie beruht auf
einer angeborenen oder erworbenen, strangförmigen oder flächenhaften Bindegewebswucherung,
die meist am Rücken des Penisschaftes auftritt. Häufig finden sich auch Kalkablagerungen
und eine Verknorpelung. Die Penishaut bleibt dabei verschieblich und das Wasserlassen
ist nicht beeinträchtigt.
Die Erkrankung tritt meist zwischen dem 50.-60. Lebensjahr auf und ist relativ häufig. Die Ursache
der Erkrankung ist bis heute nicht ganz geklärt. Als gesichert gilt, dass ein Zusammenhang
mit anderen Bindegewebeerkrankungen (z.B. einer Verkürzung der Handsehnen) besteht.
Auch wiederholte kleine Verletzungen, Einflüsse aus dem Immunsystem und eine genetische
Veranlagung werden als Ursachen vermutet.

In origine il pallium, il premio conferito ai vincitori delle corse alla lunga, consisteva in un tessuto prezioso di grandi dimensioni. Spesso era intessuto di filamenti d’oro e foderato di pelli di piccoli e pregiati animali. Aveva un consistente valore, anche monetario, e veniva in genere usato per la confezione di abiti o paramenti sacri o venduto per organizzare con il ricavato nuove feste.
Con l’affermarsi del palio “moderno” nel Campo e con la progressiva regolamentazione, anche a causa delle modificate condizioni politiche della città, il premio assume un valore maggiormente simbolico e viene sempre più spesso dipinto piuttosto che ricamato e arricchito da altri ornamenti.
