I specialize in cultural studies and social sciences, having obtained my doctorate from Lancaster University (U.K.) in cultural studies of science (a cultural-linguistic study of popular representations of the Human Genome Project).
Major translation projects in the past include Niklas Luhmann's book The Reality of the Mass Media and Ulrich Beck's Power in the Global Age (both for Polity Press).
I am also happy to venture into social scientific studies in other fields (environment, development, new technologies etc.) on the basis of collaboration with the source text author.
