This hobby turned into a passion overtime and I am now building up a career in translation.
I took up translation modules as part of my English Philology degree, (English <> Spanish) and I am currently doing the online Certificate in General Translation with International House Barcelona, which will finish in July 2008. Most of my experience in the field derives from translations performed as part of my employment history in market research, administration and education.
Although I do not hold any formal credentials at present, I have always been complimented on the quality of my translations and my professionalism. I am aware of the importance of credentials and, to this effect, I intend to start a Master in Translation in September 2008.
