Mount Huangshan, located at the beautiful mountainous area of southern Anhui, is celebrated for its fantastic beauty of “three wonderful and four unique scenic features” in the world. In 1982, Mount Huangshan was announced by the State Council to be included the first national scenic areas. In 1986, it was listed as one of the ten major scenic spots in China through selection. In 1990, Mount Huangshan was listed in World Heritage by UNESCO. Then, Mount Huangshan was selected as national “Hygienic Mountain”, “Safe Mountain” successively. In 1998, Mount Huangshan was listed as top one of the first ten national civilized scenic spots decided by national departments, such as Ministry of Construction and National Tourism Administration, etc.
Mount Huangshan is a mountainous scenic area characterized by its natural scenery such as the four wonders, namely, fantastic pines, grotesque rocks, sea of clouds and hot springs. Tourists both from domestic and abroad acclaim these four wonders as the acme of perfection. The 72 named peaks of Mount Huangshan practically sculptured made by the nature and its layout is in graceful disorder either magnificent or steep. Lotus, Brightness Apex and Celestial Capital are the three major peaks, all arising above 1,800 meters above sea level. The three major peaks as a focus spread out around, giving rise to lofty peaks and deep ravines, the Mount Huangshan appears as a typical hoodoos physiognomy.

Like most fourteen-year-olds, Katie with self-esteem and felt awkward. Still, she had been an honor student in her elementary school and she was looking forward to the challenges of high school. But once she got there, poor Katie crashed and burned. Her grades plummeted and she became a social recluse, abandoning all of her friends. Her parents were shocked when she was placed in special education classes. They brought her to the Lawlis and Peavey Center for tests to determine if she had attention deficit disorder or some form of schizophrenia.
Katie’s problems were not simple. We found that her brain was not getting the nutrients it needed because of two factors. She had a yeast-type growth in her intestines that prevented food from being metabolized correctly. She also had a poor diet, which can cause a lot of problems for an adolescent going through puberty. The quality of her schoolwork declined because Katie’s brain was too hungry to think. Her memory went blank, and the part of her brain that normally handled organizational skills went on strike. She was suffering from neurological malnutrition that kept her from accomplishing her schoolwork. It resulted in memory failure and problems getting organized, and those brain blips, in turn, resulted in lowered self-esteem. She didn’t feel good about herself so she didn’t feel comfortable around other people. Katie had the typical teen trauma—times ten. And it was all because she wasn’t giving her brain the fuel it needed to function.
