I knew I wanted to be a translator as an undergraduate, and after receiving my B.A. in Russian Language and Literature in 2002, I moved to Moscow to immerse myself in the language while gaining professional experience. In four years of working as a translator in Russia, I developed expertise in several vocabularies, primarily marketing and market research, real estate, and pharmaceuticals.

My part-time work as a copy editor and writer—at The Moscow Times newspaper, among other publications—complemented and enhanced my translation skills. I have also translated six books for WAM, a Moscow publisher of books on art and design, and am currently working on a seventh.

Since moving to New York in January 2008, I have maintained long-distance working relationships with companies in Moscow. But I am eager to meet new translators, agencies and other partners based in the United States. I look forward to hearing from you!
