My Forte

•19 years of experience in translation covering a wide range of fields with overseas working experience in Canada, Australia. Good understanding of both languages and cultures.

•The first 10 years of my career were mainly in the field of civil aviation: aircraft purchasing contracts, flight training up to Boeing 737, aircraft operation and maintenance manuals, aviation conferences and exhibitions, etc. Aviation is a highly technical and multi-disciplinary field and the experience well prepared me for becoming a freelance translator afterwards.

•Later work includes translation of business, marketing, education, law, tourism and travel, finance (general), human resources, website and media localization, cosmetics, etc, as I subsequently worked with an emigration agency and a professional translation company.

•One of the first flight interpreters in China, CAAC certified, knowing how to fly Boeing 737.

•Having built and mastered several websites, highly Internet-literate.
