I have two professional passions: foreign languages and literature, especially literature for kids; I love working in team and interacting with people. I was born in Bergamo and I completed my studies there. After one year specialization course on the Montessori teaching method, I moved to Philadelphia, USA, working two years in a Montessori School. I came back to Italy and graduated in English and French while still teaching part-time. After University, I moved to Milan and worked for several years as Localization Project Manager and Linguistic Dpt. Manager inside different translation agencies and for big international companies among which Microsoft. In 2005 I decided to start my own activity as a freelance linguistic consultant. My main field of expertise is computer science (printed documentation, online helps, software strings, books, brochures, packaging, and so on), marketing and publicity material, but my passion is publishing and kids’ literature and I hope to get a chance to work in that field sometimes. I also have a good experience in selecting human resources, organising training and managing project teams. I quite like that part of my job because of the human relationships you can establish.
