In-House Skills Utilized in a Freelance World!

Hello everyone, my name is Tim Miller and I am currently working full-time as an in-house Japanese to English translator at a major patent law office here in Tokyo. I am gaining skills every day in translating patent-related documents in the fields of chemistry, mechanics, biology, pharmaceuticals, medicine, etc. My job field changes every day so I am constantly expanding my porfolio!

In addition to working in-house, I am also actively pursuing freelance work in my spare time. I mainly focus on translating patent specifications and utility models in mechanical fields. I have done extensive work in translating patents regarding absorbent articles, blanks for boxes, etc.

I strive to offer competitive rates as well meeting every deadline, and I looking forward to working with a variety of different agencies and direct clients.

The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. Mouseover your name at the top of the screen. Here you will find information about your account, your email settings, and more. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together. I cannot find something If you are having trouble finding something with the new menu, please submit a support request.
