I grew up in Birmingham and the Black Country and graduated from Sheffield University where I studied German language and literature with Swedish as subsidiary subject. Since 1984 I have been working in Denmark. I am married to a Dane and have two bilingual children.
Since 1991 I have been working full-time as a technical writer, in-house translator and localization manager for various engineering companies in the Copenhagen area.
Besides a very keen interest in foreign languages I am also a keen computer gamer and reader of science fiction and fantasy literature.
