About me
I studied languages - translation and literature at the University of Pisa.

During my studies I spent some months in the USA and Spain learning languages (I attended differents language courses).

With my thesis I specialized in spanish cinema and subtitling. I translated a screenplay of the spanish film "Piedras", which was in the contest at the Berlinale 2002.

In 2002 I also started working as a freelance translator for different agencies in Italy (literature, marketing, general medicine, biology were the main working areas)
In 2003 I moved to Germany (where I'm living now) and I did an internship at a translation company in Berlin, specializing in technical translations (Software, Computers, Engenieering, etc.). After that I continued working as a freelance translator for different german companies.

Additionally I collected many experiencies working in international companies as foreign languages correspondence clerk.
After a while I decided to leave "the office life" to become a professional Fitness and Aerobic Trainer - and so I turned my hobby into my job.

Nevertheless I have never stopped doing translations. Thanks to my studies and my practical experiencies, I am able to translate texts in multiple fields.

Languages are my passion, as well as sports.
