About me
Languages are my passion. My mother tongue is Latvian. My school was specialized in French language, I learned, English, French and Russian. In University of Latvia I learned Latin too, my second foreign language was English.. I studied French linguistics, literature and translation at university and I continued to take Spanish lessons for another 2 years in evening studies.
After my studies I have been able to accumulate experience as a language teacher and as a translator. During 4 years I translated from French for Latvian elevator’s company. I worked like translator besides other jobs, only after our independence of 1991 I could do more in translations field, I translated for agencies and editors. My guide activity in summer help me too.
