Background
I am a native Latvian translator, living in Sweden. With a Master Degree in Development and Business from Uppsala University in Sweden as well as aditional 1 year education from Stockholm International School of Economics I have good understanding of marketing, finance, business, management and legal language.

Political science (B.A) and International Law (3 years of academic studies) subjects have been part of my education and it makes me confident in these areas too, especially with EU translation projects.

I am currently working with IT localisation projects as well. But my passion are subjects on tourism and travel.

Services
Being a market communication specialist, besides translations and editing, I do even copywriting for business purposes in Latvian (and Swedish). I can also provide summaries of larger texts, subtitling or graphical services (picture editing, graphical design) with output in printready format (PDF, SVG, JPEG etc.).

Capacity
Translation capacity: 2000-3000 words/day, depending on a source text subject.

Working Formats
- All common document formats such as .doc, .xls, .pdf., .ppt .html etc.
- I work with SDL Trados 2007. I am familiar with Passolo, Idiom, DVX.

Prices
Prices depend on a subject of a source text and a complexity level of the text as well as CAT tools required for the translation. I prefer seeing the translation text before giving you the price. But normaly they are as follows:

Swedish to Latvian - Rates: 0.10 EUR per word / 35 EUR per hour
English to Latvian - Rates: 0.08 EUR per word / 35 EUR per hour
