We all know what makes a fish look healthy. It’s usually the brightness of its eyes and the shine of its scales.
This is one of the reasons why modern fish farmers in Europe and around the world go to great lengths to keep their fish stocks as healthy and appealing as possible. But how exactly do they do this?
They do this by making sure that their fish stocks always have enough oxygen. Fish breathe in oxygen from the water in their tank and therefore, oxygen levels need to be replenished to keep the fish healthy. Even the remotest fish farm can achieve this by installing an onsite tank of liquid oxygen, fitted with a vaporiser and an underwater piping system which releases the gas directly into the closed tank, ensuring that oxygen levels are maintained constantly.
For some fish, such as salmon, using pure oxygen in this way can also improve its colour by adding to the natural pink shade of its flesh.
Tom O’Hare, central account manager said:

Fish farmers often find that increasing the oxygen level of the water can help fish to grow faster and feed better and this can have a significant effect on fish yields.

Kita semua sedia maklum apa yang menjadikan seseekor ikan itu kelihatan segar. Ia lazimnya berdasarkan kecerahan matanya dan kilauan sisiknya.
Ini adalah salah satu daripada sebab mengapa penternak ikan moden di Eropah dan seluruh dunia sanggup buat apa sahaja untuk memastikan stok ikan mereka sesegar dan semolek mungkin. Tetapi bagaimanakah sebenarnya mereka melakukan semua ini?
Mereka melakukan ini dengan memastikan agar stok ikan mereka sentiasa mempunyai oksigen yang mencukupi. Ikan menyedut oksigen daripada air di dalam tangki mereka dan justeru itu, tahap oksigen perlu ditambah semula bagi memastikan ikan kekal segar. Malah ladang ternakan ikan di kawasan terpencil boleh mencapai standard ini dengan memasang sebuah tangki oksigen cecair di tapak, dipasang dengan sebuah sistem pengewap dan sistem perpaipan bawah air yang melepaskan gas secara terus ke dalam tangki tertutup, memastikan agar tahap oksigen terus berkekalan.
Bagi beberapa jenis ikan, seperti salmon, penggunaan oksigen tulen melalui kaedah ini boleh juga menjadikan warnanya bertambah menarik dengan menambah warna merah muda asli pada dagingnya.
Tom O’Hare, pengurus akaun pusat berkata:

Additionally, I also have a project team that constitute of qualified translators to assist me for large volume of project.
