I have been part of several localization teams and participated in the localization of a video monitoring software, 3D design software, 2 versions of a map-related software, financial management software, and an HR management software, among others. These were all highly technical programs and my share was in total about 700 000 words. The word count of my career as a full-time translator is over one million words, after that I stopped counting.

To name a few fields, I have translated computer and software product ads and notifications, instrument and mobile manuals, web pages, marketing material, learning material, various software manuals and software related instructions, travel related ads and other travel related material, news and correspondence, reports and studies, CVs, several excavator manuals, truck manuals and a large truck related flash presentation (as a co-translator), paper and pulp related software and manuals, forestry equipment manuals, garden equipment manuals, several construction related manuals and presentations. In addition also a few contracts, offers, legal documents, certificates, patent claims and a notarial certificate. My customers include individuals, many international large and medium size corporations, Finnish corporations, projects, government branches and several translation agencies.

My other line of business is multimedia. I have done multimedia presentations of companies and individuals, animations, DVDs and designed and implemented some web pages. My special skills include Flash techniques and animation.

My rates are negotiable, normally about €0,14/word. My hourly rate is €40 and applies to extra work and proofreading/language editing. I accept bank account transfers and MoneyBookers payments.

My translation speed is from 2500 words per day upwards. I mainly produce quality translations from English into Finnish fit to be published as they are.
