I have translation experience in financial markets (equities, fixed income, M&A, private equity, asset management), business, industry (esp. pharmaceuticals, telecoms, utilities, digital imaging & printing products, automotive), social and economic development (SED), religion and spirituality.

I am familiar with Across, TRADOS, Déjà Vu, SDLX, Passolo and Wordfast.

After earning an MSc in Scientific, Technical and Medical Translation with Translation Technology from Imperial College London, I gained a year's inhouse experience in financial and business translation at a media monitoring firm in the City.

This was followed by a year as a Freelancer in the multicultural French overseas department (DOM) of French Guiana, where I was involved in community and social development activities, whilst my translation work independently focused on many documents of a related nature - SED project reports and budgets from Latin America and Africa, and informational materials for local, awareness projects in French Guiana.

I am currently residing in Israel, working inhouse for an international organisation as a translation coordinator and translator of similar documentation as before.

I have been involved in community and social & economic development (SED) and have a particular interest in spirituality, philosophy and religion, including their application to practical issues such as SED and business ethics.

I also have intermediate knowledge of Web site design, much of it self-taught, including (x)html, xml, css, and basic JavaScript. I use Dreamweaver, MS FrontPage and Adobe PhotoShop.
