Having spent 7 years aiding Paratrooper battalion level HQ to translate all kinds of documents from English to Portuguese and Portuguese to English, from 16 daily intelligence and operations reports at real operations - Bosnia and Timor - to military technical manuals and other materials, i.e., the UN Dayton Agreement.
That experience enabled me learn how to work under pressure, with tight deadlines and 100% completion success rate.
After an 11 year commission as a Paratrooper officer, I’ve been working as freelance translator since. Latest jobs include Champion Pet Foods in Canada, translating from English to Portuguese (European) all documentation - technical dog food specs, marketing aids, etc.
