Field Operation.
As a preparation for the pig inspection runs in each of the lines, it is required to scout the area and identify the Right of Way where the lines in matter are, in order to locate the control points which will act as a reference guide for the Geo-positioning.

Such boxes are located right on the ground, within the control point, just a few minutes before the pig runs and they are removed immediately after. Therefore, no affectations are made to the Right of Way and all we require to perform this work is free access to detection sites.

Operación de Campo.
En preparación para las corridas de inspección con diablo instrumentado de cada una de las líneas, se requiere realizar un recorrido y conocimiento del derecho de vía donde se encuentran los ductos para ubicar los puntos de control que servirán como referencia para el geoposicionamiento. Este trabajo incluye el sondeo y correcta ubicación del ducto a la distancia señalada, la adquisición de coordenadas GPS, elaboración de croquis de acceso a los puntos, toma de fotografías del sitio, así como la confirmación de la disponibilidad de las trampas de envío y recepción. En estos puntos de control a cada 2 km. no se requiere realizar excavaciones para la colocación de medios de detección (imanes), pues nuestros marcadores son pequeñas cajas metálicas con dispositivo electrónico que se activa al paso del campo magnético generado por el diablo instrumentado. Tales cajas se colocan sobre el suelo, en el punto de control, unos minutos antes del paso del diablo y se retiran inmediatamente después. Por lo tanto, no se producen afectaciones en el derecho de vía y lo único que requerimos para realizar este trabajo es el libre acceso a los sitios de detección.

Para esto, localice su pulso en la muñeca, (no presione muy fuerte porque no va a sentir nada) y cuente los latidos durante diez (10) segundos y multipliquelos por seis (6).
