About me
I am a German -> English freelance translator, and copy editor (English) based in Vancouver, Canada. I lived in Zurich, Switzerland from 1992 to 2007, and worked for Credit Suisse throughout that period. For the last five years, I worked as a translator for the bank's in-house language services department.

A certified journalist, I successfully leveraged my skills in my position as project manager and lead translator for the English edition of "one", the Credit Suisse staff magazine. Additionally, I was responsible for translating and providing editorial input for special editions of the bank's stakeholder magazine, "Bulletin". Both publications have received a variety of awards.

I now work as a freelancer, still counting CS as one of my major clients, and provide translation, editorial, and proof-reading services.

On a personal note, if I'm not at the keyboard translating, you'll find me either on the golf course, at Starbucks, or playing street hockey with my son.
