Bio
I am a German -> English freelance translator, and copy editor (English) based in Vancouver, Canada. I lived in Zurich, Switzerland for 15 years (1992-2007), and worked for Credit Suisse throughout that period. For the last five of those years, I worked as a translator for the bank's in-house Language Services unit.

A certified journalist, I successfully leveraged my skills in my position as project manager and lead translator for the English edition of "one", the Credit Suisse staff magazine. Additionally, I was responsible for translating and providing editorial input for special editions of the bank's stakeholder magazine, "Bulletin". Both publications have received a variety of awards.

I now work as a freelancer, providing translation, editorial, and proof-reading services to a variety of European clients.

On a personal note, if I'm not at the keyboard working, you'll find me either on the golf course, at the local coffee shop, or dabbling in sports photography.
