I have significant experience in translating law related documentation, including:

- commercial law docs, from distibution, licensing in/out and sales and purchase contracts, outsourcing agreements, patents and co-existence arrangements, trademark applications, personal data processing documentation (privacy) and a wide range of other commercial arrangements;

- corporate law-related from BoD minutes to offering circulars, prospecus, etc;

- financial markets documentation, including loan agreements, pledge agreements, financial statements, audit reports, etc;

- employment law documents including standard and personalised employment contracts, confidentiality agreements, settlement agrements, reviews of contentious cases, etc;

- litigation from summons to appeal court motions.

I have specific experience relating to the Life Sciences and Energy sectors.

Life Sciences: clincial trial agreements, consent/assent forms, data protection documentation (privacy), ethics committee reports, etc.

Energy: wind farms, solar farms, turn key agreements, administrative requests, local authority permits and authorisations, etc.

I also have experience of translating and reviewing materials for other sector companies, including telecoms, energy, advertising, marketing and fashion companies, and such work includes:

- web sites;
- in-house and external magazines and publications;
- notices to personnel and stakeholders;
- communications and advertising materials;
- health & safety guidelines;
- training manuals;
- software applications instructions and help guides.

In addition to the more technical areas above, I also particularly enjoy translating prose and discursive texts. I have experience of translating film reviews and also student profiles for graduate fairs in subjects ranging from fashion & design, film and theatre studies through to art history.
