I am essentially a wordsmith, i.e. a worker with words.

I started my life as a telecom engineer (1996) and worked as a Government employee, then as a Private Sector Dy. General Manager (2004), a MBA student in Strathclyde Business School, Glasgow. (2005)

There I started my translation career formally - as a freelancer translator and interpreter and in 2006 launched Wordsmith Communication.

My dialogue with Internet and Social Networking started in 1999 while I launched www.syhlleti.org - First Community integrator website for Sylhetis

In 2008, bi-lingual cultural monthly ezine on Greater Bengal ezine called www.penatsect.com

In 2008 end, we launched Promotion and Print on Demand Services called http://showcase.pentasect.com

In 2009, exposed to the world of translation, content and training, co-founded www.embracetheleadership.com - a Leadership and Freelancer Training Company

As for me, I see myself as an engineer, manager, business owner, Editor and Teacher.

All these roles finally draw their life breath from words, hence a wordsmith.
