Satoko Kiyohara

I am a native speaker of Japanese and have been working as a professional translator, interpreter and language teacher since 2006 collaborating with many companies. I was born in 1979 and grew up in Kanagawa Prefecture (just next to Tokyo). I have lived in Italy for 8 years yet currently live in the USA. I have a Japanese bachelor’s degree in sociology and an Italian bachelor’s degree in foreign languages and literatures. Before working as a freelancer, I have worked for a Japanese tourism industry company and for an Italian trade fair organizing company.

Sono una madrelingua giapponese, e lavoro come interprete, traduttrice ed insegnante di lingua giapponese dal 2006 collaborando con varie aziende. Sono nata nel 1979, cresciuta in Kanagawa (prefettura confinante con Tokyo), ma ho vissuto in Italia per 8 anni. Attualmente risiedo negli Stati Uniti. Mi sono laureata in Sociologia in Giappone e ho conseguito un’altra Laurea in Italia in Lingue e Letterature Straniere. Prima di intraprendere la mia attività professionale, ho lavorato presso un’azienda giapponese nel settore del turismo e presso un’azienda italiana che organizza le fiere internazionali.
