I am a Czech native translator with a four-year experience of living, studying and working in Ireland. I have been working as a part-time freelancer since 2003 (translating mainly -but not exclusively- for a Czech market research company, Mareco, s.r.o.). I have both a Czech and an Irish university degree and a high standard of Czech and English.
My major translation areas cover issues related to the European Union, market research, general legal and business English, political and social sciences, literature and linguistics, and recently also IT, software, localisation, and telecommunications.
I am currently located in Finland working as a part-time jr. localisation tester (testing the linguistic correctness of English to Czech translations and functionality of the mobile phone software).
