Chapter 4
Men Faced Death Due to Disobedience
1. Men Were Blessed to Rule and Subdue
God the Creator made man in His own image and gave him the authority to subdue the earth and rule over all living things. This process is recorded in Genesis chapter 2 in detail. God molded man with clay and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. Then, God brought the man into the Garden of Eden, where many beautiful trees with delicious fruits were growing.
God let the man rule and protect the Garden of Eden, but made an order. God said, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; ‘but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die’” (Genesis 2:16-17).
Also, God thoughts it was not good that man was alone. So God made a helper comparable to man. God took one of man’s ribs and made a woman. Then, God let them become one flesh. Furthermore, God let Adam give names to all animals and birds.
God, who is the truth and goodness itself, taught the man about Himself and about all things in the universe and rules of the spiritual realm. Since God taught him only goodness and word of truth, Adam obeyed God’s Word and lived in peace for a long time as a man of spirit.
As God blessed him, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth,” Adam and Eve spread their descendants and ruled over everything in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 1:28).

Capítulo 4
El Hombre Enfrentó la Muerte Debido a la Desobediencia

| | English to Spanish: MARKETING AND BUSINESS | Source text - English Shelf Life – An Important Aspect of Risk Management
I was recently told that in some markets our competitors are claiming shelf lives of up to 5 years on certain products. In fact, the shelf lives of those products are only 2 years. If you think that this strategy could give you a competitive advantage, think again. This is a very risky strategy that could carry enormous liabilities.
In the next Newsletter, we'll return to the series of articles on risk management and proper claims handling. The is a special article due to the importance of this issue.
Shelf life is an important in defining the duration of a product's stability and bio-efficacy. However, it is also an important aspect of risk management. This is because manufacturers, and so too distributors, do not make any promises regarding product stability or bio-efficacy beyond the product's shelf life. (It should be noted, of course, that shelf life does not limit risks involving latent defects or long term health risks). Additionally, insurance companies providing product liability coverage will not extend such coverage to products used after the expiration of its shelf life. So, if a farmer uses a product after its shelf life has expired, the farmer is doing so at his or her own risk.
| Translation - Spanish Tiempo de validez – Un Aspecto Importante de la Administración de Riesgos

My name is Elena de Medina, I´m a full-time freelance EN>ES translator based in Cuenca, Ecuador, South America.
I started translating over 13 years ago. For the first 10 years I worked part-time as an English and Spanish teacher, and the rest of the day I was committed to translating, which eventually became my passion, therefore three years ago I decided to start working as a full-time freelance translator.
Making use of the research skills a translator must master, I can (and have) handle many areas and fields of specialization; however, my main areas of specialization are:
- Religion (Christianity)
- Education (mainly FL teaching)
- Certificates, Transcripts, CVs, Diplomas
My daily input is 2500-3000 words.
I take urgent projects according to my availability (urgent project fees are applied according to the complexity and urgency of the project).
Concerning CAT tools: I´m in the process of becoming Trados certified, but I´m not taking any immediate projects that require the use of the program until I master it. Hopefully, that will be soon!
