About me

My name is Katerina Katapodi, I am a Sworn Translator in English and French, have trasnlated documents of any kind so far, as well as two books (University level..) of History, Theater Master, EU documents with success (from Italian into English), some medical texts,also have experience from simultaneous interpretation from Greek into Spanish (University Aegaen of Lesbos Congress in 2005..).I started my translating esperience, being still a student of French Literature at Athens University (when my Professor of the subject:''Translation from/into French, encouraged ME in performing translations in Class during courses..
I have also a degree from Open University at E-Learning, specialised in Philosophy, where I have also written a thesis on the subject :Sartre and Adorno in the field of Marxism, as well as articles published on similar affairs.. (financial law, political philosophy).I have all Basic knowledge of Law, even advanced level, from a Serious Study on my own for 3 yrs, and I have also attended seminars of Social Anthropology, at University Aegaen in Lesbos for 6 months in 1999..I am curretly an Interpreter in local Court here in Mytilini, having a strong linguistic back round, I speak very well English, and French.(almost as mother language..)German, Italian, Spanish, and can carry out a current conversation and even more in Portuiguish and Turkish, I am 46 yrs old and have dedicated half of my life to education, which I consider to serious, and Languages, throughout which I would like to be useful to others...by offering the above Services..any other language combination can be accepted among the ones I mention I speak Well..
