I am a Persian-American with a Ph.D in Political Science, M.P.A., and B.A. in English Literature. I am a Sr. Contract Interpreter for the U.S. Department of State. Have been interpreting/translating for Federal,State and local Agencies/Courts as well as depositions and worldwide conferences for the last 33 years.

I am a member of the American Translators Association, National Association of Judiciary Interpreters and Translators, PEN West and National Writers Union.
I presently serve on San Diego County District Attorney's Advisory Board.I used to serve on California Governor's Joint Venture Advisory Board and San Diego Mayor's International Affairs Board and Small Business Advisory Board.
