About me
NAATI-accredited and active since 1991, I am a US Ph.D.-trained art historian who morphed into fulltime freelance Japanese to American English translation work in the early 1990s.

I strive to give English voice to Japanese authors in the art-related and cultural properties management fields.

A translator's job encompasses both a full, intuitive understanding of the source language and cultural context, and the ability to write clear, concise and elegantly effective text in the target language.

I would like to work with you to give a professional English voice to your Japanese authors.
