About me
I am a two-direction NAATI professional translator from English into Chinese and vice versa. My claim is backed by the following superior qualifications:

1. My excellent interpretation and translation skills have been time-tested on many occasions in the past over ten years. I readily passed the NAATI accreditation to become a two-direction professional translator from English into Chinese and vice versa. My NAATI ID is 63460. Please note the difference between NAATI accreditation by tests and by recognition. I chose to sit the tests instead of creditial recognition. My professional T&I experience dates back to the early 1990s.

2. My rich experience in translation and interpretation has been accumulated over time during my earlier employment in the Foreign Service of China. The same employment had provided me with numerous opportunities of translation and interpretation. My translations skills are also demonstrated in the publication in China in 2006 of the book titled “Cost-Effectiveness Analysis”, written by Henry M. Levin and Patrick J. McEwan. Other translation work includes the National Report of the PRC on Women's Development to the 23rd General Assembly of the United Nations in 2000 as well as numerous government statements, remarks by the leadership, ministers and senior officials, etc.

3. My superb communication and interpersonal skills have been proven for working and studying in overseas, multi-cultural settings in Australia, China, India, Singapore, US and elsewhere. Working in a team has been daily routine for me for many years.

4. I obtained my Master Degree from the National University of Singapore in 2003, and my B.A degree, in 1991, from Beijing Foreign Studies University (BEIWAI), known as perhaps the best foreign language university in China. T&I professionals related to China normally would know "BEIWAI".

5. As an active professional in the translation sector, I have accumulated contextual knowledge and local experience. Tons of my past translation can be provided as evidience of my activity in translation. My routine work in translation cover the dairy industry, soft drinks, agriculture, official documents, M&A, stock market, international organizations, economic analysis, etc.

6. Contracted interpreter for Ethnic Interpreters & Translators, the designated interpretation agency for the local court, CTTT, NSW police, etc. since 2008. I am also on the panel of interpreters for Speak Your Language Pty Ltd.
