| Translation - English The purpose of RFID technology is to provide user-specified services by refining the tag data that satisfy a specific condition among a great number of low data from RF readers, and using the linkage with the business information system.
However, the current specification schema for the RFID application event refinement is structured in a form to be processed based on the RFID middleware. This is not convenient for clients with insufficient technological understanding regarding the use of such middleware.
Furthermore, the current RFID application service is limited in that developers must be familiar with varied and detailed technologies in the field of business as well as RFID-relevant technologies.
To solve these problems, this paper proposes a condition specification to refine the events in the RFID network environment and an RFID service policy definition language for clients to easily specify the business rules corresponding to such refined RFID events based on their own perspectives. |
