Source text - English Amiodarone is a medication that helps in the management of heart rhythm abnormalities. It is a very effective medication but can produce side effects which your doctor will need to monitor. Amiodarone is used to help keep the heart in its normal (sinus) rhythm.It is also used when the heart has changed its rhythm (arrhythmia) to help it return to normal rhythm. Side Effects Although generally well tolerated amiodarone does have side effects that can affect different parts of our body. Skin When taking amiodarone the skin can take on a greyish/blue tinge. This will settle on stopping amiodarone but can take a long time. While taking amiodarone you may become more sensitive to sunburn. Using sunblock and hats appears to prevent this side effect. Because amiodarone remains in the body for a long time it may be necessary to continue using sun block for a few months after stopping amiodarone. Thyroid Gland The thyroid gland produces a hormone which controls the body’s metabolism. Amiodarone can afffect this gland making it both over active (this occurs in about 2% of people taking amiodarone) or under active (this occurs in about 6% of people taking amiodarone). Your doctor will take regular blood tests to check if either of these has developed. If you experience symptoms of extreme tiredness or restlessness you should contact your general practitioner in normal surgery to discuss this. The doctor will arrange for you to have blood tests if these have not already been done. Both an overactive and underactive thyroid can easily be treated with medicines. Das Material ist in der Automix-Sicherheitskartusche und in der gebrauchsfertig befüllten XXX-Kartusche erhältlich, die für die Verwendung im XXX und weiteren handelsüblichen Mischgeräten geeignet ist. Indikationen Kronen- und Brückenabformungen Inlay- und Onlayabformungen Überabformungen aller Art, z. B. für Implantate Grundlegende Sicherheitshinweise Nur für den zahnärztlichen Gebrauch! Für Kinder unzugänglich aufbewahren! Hinweise zur Anwendung Die angegebenen Verarbeitungszeiten (siehe »Technische Daten« auf Seite) gelten für eine Raumtemperatur von 23 °C und eine normale relative Luftfeuchte von 50 %. Höhere Temperaturen verkürzen, niedrigere verlängern diese Zeiten. Rückstände von Retraktionslösungen gründlich mit Wasser abspülen, andernfalls können diese unter Umständen zu einer Verlängerung der Abbindezeit führen. Zum Öffnen der Kartusche den Verriegelungsschieber nach oben schieben. Verriegelungsschieber nicht von der Kartusche abziehen. Den Verschluss von der Kartusche abziehen und verwerfen. Neue Mischkanüle aufsetzen. Mischkanüle durch Schließen des Verriegelungsschiebers arretieren. Kartusche in den XXX einsetzen. Ein kurzes akustisches Signal bestätigt das korrekte Einsetzen der Kartusche. Neue Kartuschen vor der ersten Anwendung durch Verwerfen der ersten ca. 3 cm Stranglänge einsatzbereit machen. Die benutzte Mischkanüle nach der Applikation als Verschluss auf der Kartusche belassen. Non rimuovere il dispositivo di chiusura dalla cartuccia. Togliere il tappo dalla cartuccia e gettarlo. Attaccare una nuova cannula di miscelazione. Bloccare la cannula di miscelazione chiudendo il dispositivo di chiusura. Inserire la cartuccia nel miscelatore XXX. Un breve segnale acustico conferma il corretto inserimento della cartuccia. Prima di utilizzare le cartucce nuove per la prima volta, rimuovere circa 3 cm di materiale. Dopo l’uso, lasciare inserita la cannula già usata come tappo di chiusura della cartuccia! Uso della cartuccia XXX in miscelatori di altri produttori Attenersi alle istruzioni per l’uso del miscelatore utilizzato! Dann wöchentliche Steigerung der Beugung um ca. 10°. Regelmäßige isometrische Anspannungsübungen der Quadricepsmuskulatur. Translation - Italian Artroscopia – ricostruzione del legamento crociato anteriore (LCA) con semitendinoso 4x il XXX Profilassi tromboembolica per mezzo di Clexane 4000 UI s.c. 1x1. Terapia antibiotica per mezzo di Zariviz 2x2 g dal XXX al XXX. Terapia analgesica per mezzo di Voltaren 100 mg, Oxycontin 10 mg, Protezione per lo stomaco per mezzo di Antra 20. Bende ad elasticità corta. Dimissioni a seguito di decorso post-peratorio nella norma con le seguenti raccomandazioni: Assunzione di analgesici in caso di necessità, nonché regolari esercizi motori attivi dell’entità di 0/0/30-40° da subito. Dopodiché, aumento della flessione di circa 10° a settimana. Regolari esercizi di distensione isometrica del quadricipitte. Continuare il più possibile ad alleggerire l’arto inferiore operato usando le stampelle fino alla fine della quinta settimana post-operatoria. Indossare la calza compressiva sopra la coscia per tutto il giorno e proseguire la profilassi farmacologica tromboembolitica corrente nelle dosi prescritte fino al raggiungimento del carico completo alla sesta settimana post-operatoria. Tenere pulite e asciutte le ferite e il bendaggio. Primo controllo in ambulatorio con concomitante rimozione dei punti di sutura dopo 10 giorni dall’intervento chirurgico, come concordato; controllo anticipato, senza necessità di un preventivo appuntamento, in caso di eventuali problemi (aumento del gonfiore, ipertermia, febbre, ingrossamenti locali, dolore al polpaccio...). Controlli successivi come concordato, di norma ogni due settimane all’inizio e poi una volta al mese, esercizi di fisioterapia in caso di regolare decorso, solo a partire dalla quinta settimana post-operatoria. Rottura dell’impianto a seguito di ricostruzione tendine rotuleo del LCA del ginocchio sx - alterazioni degenerative del menisco laterale – lesioni cartilaginee circoscritte di grado II e III al condilo femorale mediale. Nuova ricostruzione del LCA – questa volta con semitendinoso quadruplo – fissazione prossimale con Endobutton, distale con viti ad interferenza l0x25.

About me

WELCOME TO MY PROFILE!

My name is Anna Di Pietro and I work as fulltime freelance translator and proofreader from English and German into Italian (my native language).

My areas of specialisation are: medicine and pharmaceutics, earth moving equipment and law. I can help you translating for instance: scientific articles, SPCs, clinical protocols, PSURs, PILs, clinical trials, informed consent, medical devices instructions, safety data sheets, contracts, software licence agreements, terms and conditions and much more.

In 2008 I achieved a Master's Degree in Scientific and Technical Translation at the University of Naples, Italy. Soon after my graduation I worked as in-house translator and proofreader at a translation agency based in Italy.
Since January 2009 I have been working as freelancer for translation agencies and direct clients.
From September 2009 to February 2010 I attended a postgraduate course in medical and pharmaceutical translation.

I regularly use CAT tools, such as SDL Trados Studio 2009, Trados 7, Déjà vu, SDLX and Wordfast Pro.

I am reliable, professional and accurate, and I have never missed a deadline. I am available from Monday to Friday (09:00 a.m. – 06:00 p.m. GMT+1) but I am willing to work over weekends if necessary. My daily output is 2000/3000 translated words and up to 5000/6000 proofread words.

Rates depend on the word count, but also on the difficulty level of the text, the deadline and the file format.
