MA IN TRANSLATION AND INTERPRETATION

I have two fields of specialisation: medical translations and military/shipping.

The first stems from a childhood wish to become a doctor - instead I became a translator, but I retained the interest in the medical field and have translated dose repsponse studies, laboratory equipment catalogues en masse, and COPD articles to name a few.

My knowledge of my other field of specialisation is vast. I have been in the Royal Danish Navy, have worked as an inhouse translator at the American Embassy in Copenhagen, and lately for the Danish Maritme Safety Administration.

In addition to this, I have done quite a few fact sheets and project summaries in relation to electrical enigeering, and many a marketing document and telecom user guide.
