I am senior journalist and editor in Gujarat. I have been well-versed with a lot of subject. I am a science graduate from Bombay University and visiting professor of journalism in Saurashtra University, Rajkot, where one of the subjects I teach is “translation”. I have written books on law, drama and short stories. I am in live contact with global politics as well as social affairs. All subjects are of my interest. (1) I consider quality as very important: The tense (present/past) and voice (active/passive) should be as per the original source file.
(2) I check for the correct meaning, punctuation, spelling/typo, grammar/syntax, industry-standard terminology, consistency and numbers.
(3) I focus on linguistic, textual, cultural and technical acceptability and completeness by comparing it with the original source language document.
(4) Check if any text is missing.
I have written a book of medical law in Gujarati: Food and Cosmetic act, 1972, with provisions of bulk drugs. (Total no. of pages - 750)
