About me

I am offering a translation checking service/copy editing service for translators who want to reduce the amount of time it takes to translate documents and improve their efficiency.

I have:

An upper second class BA(Hons) in French and Spanish;
A Certificate of English Language Training to Adults (accredited by the University of Cambridge and the British Council);
A Further Certificate in Business French

From University and my varied work history I have excellent experience in:
General translation (journalism in formal and informal registers, correspondence etc)
Business (especially performance/quality assurance and business planning)
Travel (articles, itineraries, travel information)
Music and the arts

My work history has mainly been temporary contracts, and through this I have had experience in different fields.

I do not yet have a Diploma in Translation, but intend to obtain one. I am therefore beginning with translation checking.
I have however done some private translation work, involving the purchasing of property in Spain.

I have also studied at l'Universite d'Avignon et de pays de Vaucluse in France and at La Universidad de Cordoba, Spain.

At University no source language>English translation I did fell below 75% in the final year of studies.

	X Why did the menu change? The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to. The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. This eliminates scrolling for those with smaller screens, and also improves readability. More information on the changes... Where is the "My ProZ.com" menu? Mouseover your name at the top of the screen. Here you will find information about your account, your email settings, and more. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together. I cannot find something If you are having trouble finding something with the new menu, please submit a support request.
