I graduated from the University of Leeds in 2008 with an MA in Applied Translation Studies. I currently work as a freelance translator and interpreter and have worked alongside several public sector organisations, including the NHS, the DWP and the Immigration Advisory Service. I am currently undertaking the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) English Law Option with French, as well as the Professional Support Group course, led by the Institute of Translation and Interpreting.

I teach on the Computer-Assisted Translation course for students on the MA in Applied Translation Studies course at the University of Leeds, demonstrating the use of CAT tools.

I also carry out note-taking for students with special needs at several universities in the North West.

As part of a team of translators I participated in the translation from French to English of an academic publication entitled Transnational Protest by Ariane Jossin. This was published in New York in 2010.

I am an Associate of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting and abide by its professional Code of Conduct.
