I am a native Chinese speaker, born in China, and educated in Taiwan and the US. I earned a PhD in Physics from Boston College and for the past 30 years worked in high-tech organizations in: optical fibers, strain gages, and optical MEMS switches. As a part of my responsibilities, I have translated sales brochures and pamphlets from English to Chinese and purchase specifications, requests and orders from Chinese to English. I also served as an interpreter for visitors from China or Taiwan. I am familiar with both Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
